Learn MoreThe Caribbean Air Transport Connectivity Project – Saint Lucia (CATCOP-SL) is a World Bank-funded initiative administered through the International Development Association (IDA). The project spans two Caribbean islands—Haiti and Saint Lucia—with primary objectives to enhance air transport safety, ensure compliance with international standards, improve airport infrastructure resilience against natural disasters, and support informed planning for airport development. Executed by the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) with support from the Department of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance, and the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA).

Contingent Emergency Response Component (CERC) Designed to provide immediate assistance during eligible crises or emergencies. Upon government request, funds can be reallocated to finance emergency activities and expenditures as defined in the Project Operations Manual.
